CROSSFIT KIDS MITCHELTON
CrossFit Kids at CrossFit Mitchelton is a fun and energetic fitness program for kids ranging from 5 to 15 years old. Coach Sarah Petchell is qualified with CrossFit Level One/Two & CrossFit Kids, Michael Greentree and Carla Logan are CrossFit Level One qualified and all coaches have a passion to see kids and young people happy, healthy and getting the most out of life.
CrossFit Kids emphasises good movement throughout childhood and adolescence. Consistency and good mechanics translates to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance and fewer sports injuries for Kids. Not only that, a vast body of research indicates that exercise is beneficial to cognitive function, which means consistent adherence to the program can be a positive impact on children’s academic achievement. OPEN PASS to attend ALL sessions per week:
Kids(Juniors) $150 per term [5-10 Yrs]
Pre-teens $160 per term [Under 13yrs]
Teens $170 per term [13yrs+]
Family (2 children) $215 per term
Family (3 children) $240 per term
Single Session 1 per week:
1 per week for 1 term (1 child) $105 per term (Single Session)
1 per week for 1 term (2 children) $165 per term (Single Session)
Casual Class: $13 per child

CROSSFIT KIDS Personal Training
CrossFit Kids Mitchelton offers 1:1 and 2:1 Personal Training for kids from 9yrs old. Sessions will go for 50minutes at a time negotiated with your trainer.
Fees are $25 (1:1), $30(2:1)

Ensure your child turns up to the class 5 min prior to the scheduled start time and brings a water bottle. It is suggested that the children wear clothing that does not inhibit their movement and shoes must be worn at all times.
Your child’s safety is important to us. Please let us know of any special pick up arrangements. We ask that you come into the gym to pick your child up, and give us a wave to acknowledge the swap over!
As with all exercise, after CrossFit Kids your child may experience some degree of tiredness and sore muscles. This shouldn’t be a huge problem, as children generally exert less power than an adult would, and will take a break mid-workout if need be. Proper rest and nutrition will aid recovery.
If your child has any injuries from school or other sports, all CrossFit movements are completely scalable, and we can incorporate different movements into the workout to ensure your child makes achievements each session.
